Welcome to our website, we hope you enjoy browsing through our history to date (oh yes we do!!)

The Panto Society started as a conversation between myself and founder member Penny Herrod-Taylor over a rather delicious Indian meal, I never dreamt that it would become the success that it has. Our first pantomime, Aladdin played to a full house every night at the end of January 2008. Everyone who took part in any way thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was talked about for months afterwards.

Most of our profits went to a local charity, The Bruce Trust, who provide boating holidays for the disabled on The Kennet and Avon Canal, others who benefitted were The Scouts, St Mary’s church Gt. Bedwyn and The Village Hall, Gt Bedwyn.

We performed our first play, “Out of Focus” by Peter Gordon in November 2008, again to full houses, proceeds of which went to help fund our next pantomime “Cinderella” in Feb 2009.

I am extremely proud of the hard work, enthusiasm and commitment from the committee and members of the society, for without their continued support, we would cease to exist.

Once again, enjoy browsing through our website at pictures from past productions and keep up to date with ‘what’s on’. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you soon – oh yes we do!!
